The Twittosphere continues to evolve with all types of creativity. Not only is today an exciting day in that it’s Joel Comm’s TweetaThon 2009 jam packed with twitter celebrities and live action starting at 9am PST, but it’
s also the debut of the first ever Twitter rap video. The video stars non other than our friend, Rob McNealy.
Twitter Gangster is officially launching later today. Yes, you’re hearing it first here at Twitter Attraction. Just as I was getting ready to go to sleep last night, I read a leak of the video on Twitter from friend @melissahourigan. I clicked on the link and watched. I immediately picked up the phone, called Rob and we chatted for an hour. I promised to interview him in a few weeks to write a followup post and cover all the fabulous scoop about Rob. (Rob is quite the Twitter celebrity as he has over 37,000 Twitter followers. He’ll be participating in TweetaThon 2009 in the studio today with JoelComm so tune in and catch him there).
Now, let me explain. Rob McNealy is a friend and he mentioned to me about a month ago that he was in process of filming a rap video. With all due respect Rob, I have to admit, I was skeptical. However, today, I EAT MY WORDS because THIS VIDEO ROCKS. Click here and go watch the video now because Rob is demonstrating today that he’s a trendsetter who’s not afraid to step out and take a risk. If you like it, help Rob out and tweet it for him on Twitter with the following,
” @RobMcNealy’s a TwitterGangster. You just have to watch it today! #Rob #Rap http://is.gd/k45L“
The Twitter Gangster website has a few fun things including TwitterGangster T-shirts, cologne and perfume as well as song lyrics. Here’s the beginning of the song:
I’m @RobMcnealy and I’m a twitter gangster
Don’t try to block me because I’m not a wankster
I’m heading to the top don’t be bitter
Anytime of day come visit my twitter
What will we see next on Twitter? It’s only limited the crazy imaginitions of the twittosphere and that’s not too limited! If you’re not on twitter (which I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t be), you’re really missing out on a lot of fun and a whole lot of business opportunities!
