@Copyblogger (Brian Clark) is one of my favorite Twitter friends.
I first met Brian last fall in Las Vegas. The story of how we met is great in itself as I thought he was just another crazy guy in a bar. Little did I know he would inspire me daily from the blogosphere. I love Brian’s dry sense of humor, his sincerity and his authenticity. But most of all I love the terrific content at www.copyblogger.com. This blog has won numerous awards including the best blog for writer’s 3 years in a row.
One of the best things about www.copyblogger.com is the guest blogger posts. Recently, Mike Stelzner wrote a post, How to Use Twitter to Grow Your Business that you just don’t want to miss. Mike is a fellow San Diegan who has his own successful website on white papers.
In his terrific Twitter post, Mike points out four really useful things to know about twitter:
- A layman’s description of Twitter,
- High profile Twitter users including a link to a Business Week article which covers CEO’s using Twitter,
- A few practical examples and success stories of how folks are using Twitter for business, and;
- A list of some excellent Twitter tools.
Mike’s post currently has 107 comments. Make sure you read the comments too as they have some excellent points and links in them as well. Thanks Mike, for a great article!
Everyday I learn something new about Twitter and my love affair continues to flourish. I think if you invest the time to develop a relationship with Twitter, you’ll find your expectations are well exceeded. Everyday another person tells me how they just don’t understand how Twitter applies to them or their business…and every few days later, that same person calls me and says, “Wow, I get it now….and this is really addicting”. Tweet on!
